A lot of people here don't like new interpretations of old favorites, largely due to nostalgia. But things must evolve. I definitely would have liked to see more Affleck, but WB rushing to make their own MCU put a quick end to that. Honestly, though, I think Pattinson did a fairly solid job. And we actually get to see him do some detective work which has been rather lacking in past films. His Bruce Wayne is very reclusive allowing him focus on his crime fighting. The film shows why that hurts his cause more than helps. It's very likely that we'll see a much more traditional Bruce in the next film, should there be one. Honestly my favorite Batmobile so far. Suiting for a self-made early Batman who needs craft all of his equipment. It's a very Dodge-esque body with a twin turbo v8 mounted mid chassis, a full tube frame, and suspension suitable for a baja run. Plus they actually run and are functional. Not seeing the problem doesn't make it not exist. If you haven't experienced these issues, then I'm happy for you but it does happen. I've been to meets where the older guys and their muscle cars want nothing to do with you unless you have not just a muscle car but the right kind of muscle car (can't be a vert, or a clone, or engine-swapped, or a sedan, etc) and will scoff at any attempt to join them. I'm on a Mopar forum where a guy in his early 20s was engine swapping a nice old Charger. He wanted a modern EFI motor for better fuel economy, easier power, and better year-round drivability. There were a few people telling him he didn't deserve the car, that he should leave the forum and that he didn't belong there (this isn't some sort of concourse style forum mind you).
