One Adam-12, A.M. watch, ready for patrol. Here is a shot of my 1967 Plymouth Belvedere replica of a car used in the old TV show Adam-12. Most people don't remember the 67 Belvedere because it was only used in the very first "pilot" episode of the show to "sell" NBC on the idea of the series. When NBC picked up the show, they switched to the 68 Belvedere (then the 69 Belvedere, 1971 Plymouth Satellite, and finally the 1972 AMC Matador for the final 3 seasons). I am dressed in a period correct uniform for added realism. I love to use the car for cruises and parades where I always hear a "One Adam-12, see the man... " from someone in the crowd. If I can get one or two kids hooked on the show (on ME TV) after seeing my car, then I feel that I have done my good deed for the day. In the background is the sun rising on the Blue Water Bridges in Port Huron Michigan which lead over to Canada. The freighter heading downriver is the 634' Algoma Buffalo built in 1978. The second picture is in front of Lake Huron looking east at sunrise, not at the ocean looking west at sunset . 🙂 KMA 367 Randy in Michigan
