Being a U.S. model, it doesn't have the Getrag dogleg transmission and comes with leather instead of the more desirable EU cloth, but the mileage was the main reason for the sale price. I'm glad it made so much. It would appear my perfect 1987 E30 M3 Euro Spec (owned since 2006) has just risen in value yet again. In 10-20 years' time these cars may never be seen on the road, except driving to special collectors car events due to their crazy values, which would be a shame.
