Looking at the group, the Cyclone may be the one of any reasonable value if the intent was to restore any of these. It certainly will still be a money pit don't get me wrong. The TR6 is (appears) the most complete but how much profit would that bring after some work and a resale? The Boss without it's drivetrain and a Ferrari body aren't worth the time. I feel any leap in short term price spikes will be more related to Covid restrictions than actual feet on the ground auction house style buying anyway. Lots of people with no where to go and money to spend. Live auctions are going to become dinosaurs and the blatant gouging will certainly lead to their demise. They will only get more greedy and a noticeable shift away from that format will come. There are more sources for confirming a vehicle's condition than as you say, a 15" screen. All I got out of this article is that the author is old and grumpy and isn't a very good musician. This isn't new behaviour in the car culture demographic, it has been like that forever it seems. All through the 70's & 80's car shows were only open to vehicles at least 15yrs old. It was stupid then and a generation or two later it is still stupid. Wow, i expect the low/no mileage cars to be expensive. It's that way with everyting in life. That New Yorker wagon is a beauty! I don't think in all the years I've ever seen one in person. Trucks are hot and have been for a long time so i always expect to see thise sell for far more than their worth. Lots of people out there have lots of money they don't know what to do with. Cool collection! Could easily explode from 17 to 170 and beyond! I like most of these. The Ford V8 in its multiple forms is a timeless emblem and the musclecar stuff is just as sweet as the cars that wore them. I will say though the Z06 emblem could have been a much better effort. I appreciate the crafsmanship and next level work that went into this. I could stare at that chassis pic all day. The car itself though, it just looks odd to me. Id certainly love to be in a position to build a Ridler contender but the reality is I'll be sticking to my bottom feeder home built junk and trying to like it. I know this particular car is incredibly polarizing...its got no grey between love and hate. For cars at this level, for myself anyway, i couldn't care less what "make" it is because it takes a full custom to win the title anyway. I just enjoy looking at the details. I have no interest in a stock 4dr Caddy so i honestly couldn't care less about the fact they started there. Like i said, i like seeing next level detail. I had a 1990 T-Bird SC, white on black fully loaded with 5spd trans. My wife had a 1990 Mercury Cougar XR-7 same supercharged 3.8 but with the AOD in bright red over grey. These were fantastic cars! I couldn't care less about the gaps or exposed screws, yada yada. Both cars proved very reliable (306,000km's on the Bird) with no major repairs. The trick to these cars was to fix Ford's very poor, very restrictive exhaust system. Once you opened up the bottle neck these cars became completely different animals and with the 3:55 gears in the Bird they walked away from more than a few surprised people.  ... View more
