A short comment about the Fiero. Owned three of them and loved them all dispite some of the known ailments. The one thing that you had to do as an owner to get the car right and stable was the 4-wheel alignment. It was the single most important adjustment that the owner could make that would drastically improve the cars handling and make it safe to drive in the winter on ice and snow. I cant say enough about how important the 4-wheel alignment is to that car. Drove 60 miles across a frozen Kansas landscape once at 30 mph to get the alignment done at a place that new the car well. The car was unsteer able and wanted to swap ends at the slightest road imperfections on ice. Once done and off the lift, it was a 60 mph cruise home, as smooth as silk and the scariness gone. The car was on rails. After that I helped many owners get their cars handling right and tire choices sorted out. If you have one, find a good shop and get it straight. It will completely transform the car, especially if you are having handling issues on inclement surfaces. Its the nature of the car to be squirrelly, its up to you to fix it. (Hope this helps someone)
