I was running a Honda dealership on the West Coast and was refered a customer whose Son was moving from New York into the area and needed a car. The mother called me and specified the type of car she wanted. I sent her information about a car that fit the specifications. The next day she responded that she had found the same car online in Minnesota for $10,000 less. She sent me the ad link to prove it. It was in fact the same car and I mean the exact same car that I had on my lot including the VIN number! It’s a budget B movie made using friends of the support staff as actors. So they use the same car over again because it’s a Chrysler product on loan. Apparently, the author of this article never watched the movie with voice over explaining every scene. Yup, Richard Sarafian took the time to outline everything once the movie hit cult status. There’s a disc set released about 10 years ago with three versions of the film. The US release, the European release and the movie overdubbed by Paul Sarafian explaining every scene. The gal on the motorcycle was the girlfriend of one of the Key Grips or some other support function. Lots of extras from small towns used while filming the super low budget flick. This article is out of date because the parts that were throw-aways a few years ago are needed to complete restorations ans resto-mods now.  The brackets, hood hinges that every car was born with got junked when scrap prices were high several years ago.  Now the people with incomplete cars are searching for those parts and they are hard to find.  This makes them of great value. Let's say you are restoring a Challenger RT and need an AC part.  Good luck because only 3% of the cars had AC and most of the units were pulled because it wasn't "cool" to have AC.  Now muscle car buyers want AC. If you are restoring a desirable car like and "E9" and have $80k in it, what is another $60 for a bracket you need to complete the project. I agree with the other posts in their choices over the so-so choices of listed in the article. Plus these that might be duplicates: Challenger RT in Vanishing Point is #1.  Charger and Mustang in Bullitt #2, Charger in Dirty Larry ans Crazy Mary and Camaro in the Vietnam veteran movie Heroes.  That Camaro was exactly how returning vets modified them in the early 70's.  I always loved that big block corvette hood bulge adapted to the 70-1/2 Camaro.  Another great car fro modification was the 70 Challenger becasue they can be painted with a multitude of colors to accentuate the line of the design and the front headlight covered with plexi or billet horizontal grill taht goes from headlight to headlight looks awesome too.  I'd like to see more coverage of car that people modified similar to the World of Wheels car show cars.   ...
