It’s a budget B movie made using friends of the support staff as actors. So they use the same car over again because it’s a Chrysler product on loan. Apparently, the author of this article never watched the movie with voice over explaining every scene. Yup, Richard Sarafian took the time to outline everything once the movie hit cult status. There’s a disc set released about 10 years ago with three versions of the film. The US release, the European release and the movie overdubbed by Paul Sarafian explaining every scene. The gal on the motorcycle was the girlfriend of one of the Key Grips or some other support function. Lots of extras from small towns used while filming the super low budget flick. The movie is vague enough to allow interpretation. Yup, it’s a car chase movie sucking in the rebellious youth to make money.
