When I was in the Air Force stationed at Andersen AFB, Guam, the Air Police used Ford Econolines to cruise around the base. They were AF blue with 6 cylinder engines, automatic transmissions with no A/C.  I never heard of them getting into a pursuit as a Honda 125cc, which were prevalent on the base could probably out run them. ...
