I never seem to be surprised by Jay's perspectives, comments and commitment to car culture, East - West, Lambo or model A. Yet for me it feels good to hear him **bleep**, whenever, however. Jay, Never Stop Driving, and be the voice of the everyman car guy ( person, sorry ladies ).

Thanks Rob, a fun adventure and enjoyed the ride along. We share a lot of common practices when " touring " our favorite treks. Less is more ( keeping anything more than 4 cars together is work & takes away from the purpose ) like you two is preferred, Left lane for passing, Right lane if not. No zig-zag. AND no harm moving over ( CA I-5 ) when that Honda CRV doing triple digits ( not kidding ) needs the lane. Leave as early as possible ( zero dark thirty is perfect ). Always appreciate you tales of the road, Never Stop Driving.

Reminded me of some of Rob Siegel's adventures ( Louie maybe ? ), just more rust and more miles. ( no slam Rob ). Enjoyed every sentence of this adventure and brought back many memories of a few trans Texas ( El Paso to Pensacola ) adventures in my 59 Austin Healy 100-6. Please keep these stories coming and hopefully a book compilation one day. Never Stop Driving.

Porsche 996 suspension upgrades w/o breaking the bank or deteriorating the ride quality. Almost too much information on this one. So far only upgraded sway bars, huge difference

Where else in the www.auto, blog, Tic-Tock, youtube world can we share and experience great third world adventures like yours ? Nowhere I subscribe. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride and story today and Eastern Bloc auto trivia lesson. Have neighbors that own Croatia property, can't wait to take them up on their offer to visit next time they're their. JB have to agree with you on this one. Had a friend do similar with a1967 Chevelle. Special order big engine, bench seat. Maybe the 396, can't recall that part. Never stop driving. Cheers

what I enjoy most about this site, is the diversity and insights to automotive models I was only faintly aware of. This article did bring back many memories of my Grand Fathers brother ( grand uncle ?? ) who was an amazing Lincoln Continental consumer. Coupes only, the last I recall ( 66 or 67 ) a kind of sand beige over similar leather interior. Electric everything. Even after his passing, his wife continued to register and insure this car ( even though not driven ) into the millennium. Upon her passing the estate found a new owner easily that continued is preservation and use.

TG could not agree more. New GF passed along her " prior " model year Ipad. What a cluster to set up, then to remember 4 different ways to function progress. Hold this, push that, hold this longer, no slide this. I haven't given up as learning will hopefully keep me young, albeit I must admit a challenge in patience. Never stop driving ( ICE of course ).

could not agree more. fortunately for where I live we have several really good local guys that do great work for reasonable cost. Given time & lack of anyplace to spray anything, could not have been a better value when I did the bumpers -running boards on my 54 3100 pickup.

spend a lot of time driving my girl friends 2019 Carrera Cab. After an especially long 4 hour stint behind the wheel, I purchased some provisions ( Chili Cheese frito's & full octane Coca cola ) at a gas stop for our final leg of the journey. Upon opening, almost made her puke, since then ( when driving her car ) I'm relegated to water & Clif Bar's only.

Although not where I put my car dollars, viewing, learning and experiencing other cultures is a pleasure. Again thanks to Sajeev & Jack for taking me places I may not have gone on my own. I have shopped Discount Tire for years, pricing is not out of line, location, location, location has saved me and family multiple times when a tire ( or wheel emergency ) occurred. I can't say enough on the excellent customer service and support Tire America/ Discount Tire have earned. Now we may add the enthusiast side of the business with Tire Rack, a win win so far in my view.

Did I miss something here ? Didn't Blll Harrah have the right idea to begin ? He created the " Jerrari ". Why not just shuffle some dollars and tech over to the other Fiat Brand Jeep, use Ferrari engines - running gear ( ala Bill Harrah ) and call it a day. Could have accomplished this one 5 accounting periods ago.

Totally agree. I attended the Sonoma outing and had a blast. Cost was very reasonable ( 1 day pass & wine pavilion ) and was looking forward to the next event. Jeff did a great job but still a ways to go. Grounds were well organized and appropriately staged. Wine Pavilion was way below Sonoma's standard. Great track viewing, winery's were fewer, and food was a small step above costco. This said I will be back as I enjoy the venue and the history on wheels this event brings.
