Happened to me in an '86 LTD Crown Vic - stuck throttle as I was entering the freeway. Fortunately I had clear space in front of me so I kicked the gas a couple times to dislodge it; that didn't help so I threw it into neutral, but hit it too hard and went into park. The pawl held and locked up the rear wheels; it fishtailed pretty good but stopped. Luckily didn't get hit; had it towed to the dealer and they didn't know why it stuck, but cleaned the throttle body anyway.
