We have the same RA-IV but with the automatic and even more gentlemanlier! with a Turbo 400. Sure go for it; if ur a Pontiac collector and you have to have it then if money is no Object then get the RA V...usually the problem is money and if you don't have it then its easy. As far as I know its not a production w/car unit. I have advised guys to avoid disc brakes on very original cars that don't get driven alot, Most recently a real nice 1966 SS396. A lot of guys didn't bother with discs simply because of the drag on drag cars...back off the shoes a bit and no friction loss...more importantly though is the fact that disc rotors rust in our climate when sitting unused. Most recently a Healey I'm doing...alot of machine shops go .030 over and new pistons......our engine had a very small ridge so my engine builder advised to simply clean up the bores (after we checked and measure for wear....new rings, and do everything else (Line hone etc) and check for cracks etc....I don't think I'll be driving it alot...but even if it uses a bit of oil we should be Ok. Another thing...if a car has good paint and its not lacquer you don't have to strip it for a driver repaint....have done this on a lot of my cars with great success. ... View more

My favorite is the Cobra Jet Shaker which was seen in our area....never saw the Cuda Shaker in these parts, but when I did it was awesome,...then of course the cowl induction on the 70 Chevelle. My 66 Vette has the power bulge big block hood which I had to have on my Small block 327/300...its the best...as is the 69 Super Bee that has a similar one....just my faves......really like them all....just don't put a cowl induction on a fox body.....Please. ... Pontiac RA IV's run consistently fast. I don't consider the Shelby a muscle car but rather a track car. The LS-6 is the King in my books, the 70 being the most attractive midsize muscle car.....they're all great cars. Tribute cars are the best...the original ones are out-of-reach. ... View more

There are a few elements that I like about the 240Z that I see in the new reveal. The curved glass that replicates the Ferrari GTO (1964). Like the body color and interior accent match ie beading. The high rise of the rear black valence black treatment is a bit disturbing. Is this a hatchback?...sure looks like it...I like it!...but would have had the exhaust on one side instead of those duals, need some venting louvers in the hood or fender uppers, and how about a two stage turbo inline 4 with a 10 speed automatic...its a start...I'm sure there will be options and changes.
