I acquired a lot of big tools when I ran a small business cutting away machinery for training purposes.  I know most guys don't have the need, space or funds for tools like this, but they really came in handy when I was building 3/16 mile dirt track gokarts and my 3/4 scale 32 ford roadster! (blown 3.2 V6, 700R4, & 4:10 gears)    Tools I have in my shop: 3 HP Hurco milling machine - 54" table, 1 HP Chinese lathe - 48" bed (only problem with this is the scales are metric), 5 Hp 2 stage air compressor, 200 amp Miller Mig welder, 12 ton hydraulic press and a wide assortment of hand, pneumatic and electric tools.  The one I use the most is a work bench I made from 48"X40"X1/2" steel plate supported by a 2" heavy wall square tubing frame and 4 locking swivel wheels capable of supporting 2400 lbs.  The steel plate overhangs the frame by 1-1/2" making it easy to clamp work in place. Special ordered an all black1996 Dakota Sport in late 1995. Standard cab, short bed, 2WD, 318 V8, 4 speed OD auto, 3:50 gears with sure grip, aluminum rims. It had every HD option available added to it. It was a quick little truck. Best it every did was 21 MPG on a long hi-way run. I still have it and drive it, but the biggest problem is finding parts when I need them for a 25 year old truck! Would sure like to buy a replacement like it! ... View more

Still driving my 1996 Dodge Dakota Sport, std cab, short bed, 2wd, 318 V8, 4 speed auto, 3:50 sure grip rear end, all black with no chrome that I special ordered it in late 95. Still gets 18 -19 MPG.  Easily towed my 20' 4 wheel trailer.  As some else said, had to put weight inside the tail gate in the winter for better traction in the snow.  The only problem now is getting parts for it because of it's age. ...
