I had one of these, sans the AWD, when they were new. At the time they were a good handling sedan given their size. Mid-size then, today it would be a full-size car. Slightly under powered, I seem to recall something in the 160hp range for a car just at 3k#. Acceleration was fair, but it would really shine on a twisty open two lane road where the combination seemed just right. All those buttons, the hard surfaces and cheap plastic was less than desirable in the interior. Had a Bonneville SSE with the 3.8, wish it had been available in the 6000. I had a 1963 Mini Countryman woody wagon, right-hand drive with the 850cc - 36hp motor, "magic wand" shifter and non-synchro first gear.
