1985 Pontiac Fiero 2M6 SE Portage Lakes Ohio Here is my little car. You know you are small when you are I level to a Mini door handle. I bought my car new in 1985, drive it for over 3 years Summer and yes Winter. I was hit by a Dodge van that was more Ram than dodge so I had to rebuild it from the accident. Once done with the repairs I added more custom body panels, T tops and updated the interior with leather seats, cyst glove box and my own custom gauges that are now reprogrammed and refaced. I added the then available Herb Adams VSE suspension and larger tires and wheels with custom center caps I fabricated for a more factory look. Some rare items are the Indy scoop. It is a original DGP scoop like used on the Indy pace car in 84. I also have a nose emblem from the canceled 1990 Fiero. I got with GM to document it and was given the engineering drawing for it. I also acquired a few more from the MFG of the emblems for GM. The car has lapped Indy at 100 mph, parade laps at Mid Ohio, been used by GM for display at a GM event at a plant. It has been on the turn table at Summit Racing Equipments retail store. It also has taken the top 5 award at the Pontiac Tri Power Nationals twice. Once was 25 years to the day I bought the car. The car is still 50% original paint and I still wax the floor pan. Because of the car it has gotten me in at events I never would have expected and it has opened the door to meet some really great people. I have had more rare vehicles and more valuable but none as fun as this one. Just because a car is small does not exclude it from big memories!
