Bummer, hope you have a warm garage to play in. I love to run over the leaves 1x-2x with no side chute or bag so that they get reduced pretty good. Next time I use the bag and empty it into my waiting chipper/shredder. I can get 3-5 bags from the mower into 1 shredder bag, which then becomes confetti mulch around the bases of all various trees & shrubs. Then in the Spring I can rake any I consider excess out into the lawn a ways and with the first few cuttings it's "gone". Seems involved, but I enjoy it compared to trying to remove 150k mile spark plugs for a neighbor 😉

Kind of an impossible question (too many variables AND unknowns) but I'll play. If I had no other "fun cars" I'd probably purchase two vehicles, since I have two cars already that I can't justify (and assuming I have to spend the $250k or lose it) I'd just buy one that I really liked, that wasn't any more of a project than the usual "it's a 50-60 year old car, of course something else needs to be done" routine. Sajeev, we usually seem to think alike on most topics, but should I ever have a half dozen Fox Mustangs drop into my lap, you can have have them. Just pay the shipping and any gift/inheritance taxes 😉

Yeah, got to go up and winterize the trailer soon, take the chipper-shredder out of storage to deal with the leaves that will be dropping shortly, then change the oil on it and the mower before parking them for the winter and grabbing the snowblower. Celebrated the seasons yesterday by ordering a set of winter wheels and Blizzaks for the daily driver so that the OEM wheels and 20K mi. tires can take the winter off. Good times, sigh.

Interesting choice of book in the picture. Drumming up sales for Hagerty? I found that book easy to put down when I was reading the "what car for your last drive" and got to the Michelle Obama's Presidential limo answer. Threw up in my mouth a little and wondered why Hagerty would publish something that would so completely turn off half their readers.
