I purchased a 1973 barracuda very rough but just wanted  project to to do with a friend. When we got it home we discovered that its a numbers matching 340 4 barrel with buildsheet. I dont have the funds for the correct restoration. What do you think, I didnt want to do wrong by the car we are just two older fellas wanting to putts around in a garage on a car again. What should I do. Thanks in advance for your opinion.

I guess the question for me is, what do you want to do with it?

Odds are that Cuda is worth good money if you keep it stock, but you don't have to make it perfect to enjoy it and make it even more valuable. The only place you need to spend a lot of money on is rust repair, you can even do a mediocre paint job after the rust is addressed to save money. Just really depends on what you want to do with it.
