I was 16 years old in 1972 when I bought my first car from a guy in Ohio. He had just painted it Silver Blue and added a custom "endless line" graphic on the hood and deck lid. Factory bench seat, tachometer, 340 HP. 4 speed, 3.08 gear. I added a 780 cfm Holly, Hurst shifter, Cherry Bomb mufflers, G60x14 tires and gray center 5 spoke mag wheels (used). Replaced the original 409 after I dropped a valve with another 409 from a 63' (that was free).  Then I sold it in the winter of 1974 for $550.00 and made money on the deal!

Do you wish you still had it?  That's a great looking Impala!

Yes, I do wish I still had it....
I would like to know how it would stack-up against a modern muscle car. Back in the day, it was fast... and looked Great!
