65 Mustang rattle

  • Have almost all rattles identified.  The last one is in the brake system.  Going over bumps it rattles and if i apply brakes it stops.  Upon further investigation the disc brake caliper has a bar with ears on the outside of the caliper.  It rattles.  Looking  for ways to stop the rattle.  If there was a spring loaded bar that would solve the problem. Any suggestions?

You definitely need an anti-rattle clip for those brake calipers.  Did you use a conversion kit for discs?

  • Disc are factory.  Where do i find anti rattle clips?

Finding them has been harder than expected, I have asked others at Hagerty to help. In the meantime, it's either this:

If you have the factory piston calipers as shown below:

Then the National Parts Depot kit  Sajeev referenced is the kit you need and should eliminate the rattle.
