The tradition continues on with Hagerty Dawn Patrol! We'll miss seeing you in person this year for coffee and donuts in Monterey, CA but that won't stop us from celebrating the joy of driving the cars we love. And earning a coveted hat in the process.
Set your alarm for Sunday, 16 August 2020 and take a drive between 6-9 a.m.
Whether this is your 7th hat or your first, with this time honored tradition you'll join the ranks of a magical club of car lovers - and hey, you can always nap later!

Heading out for my dawn ride
Ready to go! But, which one first? Hint;check the shirt!
Well, I'll try this again. I did it once before. Like most of you this COVID thing has me ready to get out of the house at the drop of a (Hagerty) hat. So I did. My wife and co-pilot took the previous weekends photo. My son took this one so she's in it this time. Sam Hagerty hat and same '92 with 6 speed. Thanks for likes from Mike W and PAC on the last posting. We met the elk along the way on our ride from Payson AZ to the top of the rim at the junction of AZ 87 and AZ 260
Back at home base to enjoy my coffee and donut after a cool cruise in northern RI. Great being part of the Drive at Dawn event!

Great day for a drive in Houston. And dawn is the best time!
My 1968 Cadillac in front of the old Blanchester Oil company sign. This use to be the authorized GM dealer in Blanchester, Ohio. My father bought all of his cars here, and it was the first place I learned to appreciate automobiles.
I guess I'll have to wait for next year. Started a much needed engine rebuilt a few weeks back. Enjoy the ride!
Great engine out photo!
Having been invited to show my 1969 912 and 1970 914, I decided to show a never to be invited 1974 Jeep CJ5. The most worthy 1966 Pagoda in in the garage under cover.
A beautiful morning to exercise our 1967 MGB
Hagerty hat, '92 with 6 speed

One Adam-12, A.M. watch, ready for patrol.
Here is a shot of my 1967 Plymouth Belvedere replica of a car used in the old TV show Adam-12. Most people don't remember the 67 Belvedere because it was only used in the very first "pilot" episode of the show to "sell" NBC on the idea of the series. When NBC picked up the show, they switched to the 68 Belvedere (then the 69 Belvedere, 1971 Plymouth Satellite, and finally the 1972 AMC Matador for the final 3 seasons). I am dressed in a period correct uniform for added realism. I love to use the car for cruises and parades where I always hear a "One Adam-12, see the man... " from someone in the crowd. If I can get one or two kids hooked on the show (on ME TV) after seeing my car, then I feel that I have done my good deed for the day. In the background is the sun rising on the Blue Water Bridges in Port Huron Michigan which lead over to Canada. The freighter heading downriver is the 634' Algoma Buffalo built in 1978. The second picture is in front of Lake Huron looking east at sunrise, not at the ocean looking west at sunset. 🙂
