The tradition continues on with Hagerty Dawn Patrol! We'll miss seeing you in person this year for coffee and donuts in Monterey, CA but that won't stop us from celebrating the joy of driving the cars we love. And earning a coveted hat in the process.
Set your alarm for Sunday, 16 August 2020 and take a drive between 6-9 a.m.
Whether this is your 7th hat or your first, with this time honored tradition you'll join the ranks of a magical club of car lovers - and hey, you can always nap later!

I tried to post a picture captioned Sonoma at sunrise, and was told that it was successful. However, I cannot find my post. Since Hagerty indicated that there had been problems, I also tried to email the photo, but was told that it did not go through since I was not a member of the community. I had joined the community immediately before trying to send the post and the email, but perhaps your system has not recognized that as yet.
Please email me at paulluca@SBCglobal.net so that we can resolve this.
Patiently Waiting! Sorry I could not get a picture with me and my car and the sunrise this morning. We have owned this Toyota MR2 Spyder since new so almost 20 years and it has 35,567 miles. Ready to go another twenty!
Well, here I am in Monterey with out Car Week, damn this flue. But with 90 degree temps invading the peninsula it was nice to go out for a morning cruise. This is my Lotus Super 7 by Birkin. Some people call it a four wheel motorcycle or a street legal go cart. But what ever you want to call it, it’s damn fun.
Well, unfortunately after last weekend's post my 1966 327 350hp is still at the same point. With a demanding work week, 3 kids and a wife, not a minute to spare to make any more progress. I have to admit, after my post last weekend, part of me hoped for a knock on the door that would lead to Davin or Tom, better yet, both of them. They would step in to give me a hand and complete this stage of my build. Just goes to show, grown men can still dream like little boys. LOL. Hope every had a great drive and stayed safe!
Happy Drive at Dawn Day! Both of our Haggerty cars out for a family outing! We are bad at following directions and because it is already 90 degrees in Tucson, we chose to stay in our vehicles. Ha!
Here's my 1983 AMC Spirit D/L and I getting ready at 6:20am ... if any of my neighbors were up this early, they must have been laughing their butts off at my antics of setting up the camera tripod and running back and forth during the 10 seconds allowed before the pictures are taken by the camera ... LOL !!!
After cruising, I stopped off at my daughter's to have my "girls" (grand daughters) join me for the "after cruise" picture.
