The tradition continues on with Hagerty Dawn Patrol! We'll miss seeing you in person this year for coffee and donuts in Monterey, CA but that won't stop us from celebrating the joy of driving the cars we love. And earning a coveted hat in the process.
Set your alarm for Sunday, 16 August 2020 and take a drive between 6-9 a.m.
Whether this is your 7th hat or your first, with this time honored tradition you'll join the ranks of a magical club of car lovers - and hey, you can always nap later!

Red dawn here in Colorado because of all the smoke from the wildfires, and a little bit of ash falling like snow. Still, any excuse for a drive! We swiped the ashes off the paint and took the Thunderbird out for some well-deserved coffee and doughnuts. (Well, we got the coffee. The T-Bird got a tank full of high-test. Everyone's happy.)
SoCal fire preventing me from getting a scenic shot above Azusa. This road is used for many automotive shows, auto commercials, magazine shoots, etc. Maybe next year!
First attempt at this, Sure hope it works. Really want the hat. I couldn't get anyone to get up this early to go with me. Bought this car when it was a year old with 11k miles on it. It just turned 39k total miles. Thanks Hagerty for making driving so much fun!
It was 63 degrees this morning when I departed at 6:20 in search of a sunrise, cool enough that I had to pull my jacket out of the boot, but it was still a really fun, top down ride. Due to a storm front that passed through last night it was still overcast, so there was no sunrise to be found this morning, however this early on a Sunday I had the country roads almost all to myself and the MG was running really great in the cool air. It was so much fun that I think I may have to do this again tomorrow morning!!! Thanks again Hagerty, let's do it again!😀
Dawn Patrol on Lolo Pass, Mt. Hood National Forest, Oregon. Gorgeous Mount Hood in the background. Beautiful Morning before it gets too hot in our 1972 Fiat 500L. Happy motoring everyone!
