Long story short (I can give the long story if people want to read it), I have started a fundraiser to help me import my dads 1979 Pontiac TransAm to the US (where I moved to to live with my American wife), since covid has made everything so expensive that I just don't have the money to do so. Even though I have waited for some time (over a year) keeping in touch with shipping companies, it seems that the prices are not going to get back to "normal".
