Subaru sets 2022 WRX debut date, an electronique Citroën DS, new Tundra TRD Pro gets crawly

Intake: Subaru has confirmed that its 2022 WRX sport sedan will break cover at the New York International Auto Show on Thursday, August 19. While details are scant, the picture above shows a relatively compact four-door slinging dust, evoking the rally heroes in the WRX's ancestry.

If the new Tundra gets decent fuel economy and has payload ratings which don't trail too far behind the big 3, I think it has a decent chance at selling well looking like that (assuming the non-TRD Pro ones don't look like manure). It looks rather similar to the current GM and Ford styling.

If anything could be more graceful and reliable than an electric Citroen, it would have to be one electrified by the English. Bon chance, mon ami.

The Citroën is the perfect vintage candidate electrification.
