Rides from the Readers: 2001 and 2019 Corvettes

Today’s featured rides are a set of Corvette siblings, if you will: a 2001 convertible and a 2019 coupe. The C5—this particular example wears Millennium Yellow—gets the credit for introducing the all-aluminum LS V-8 when it debuted for 1997 and for generally improving on the C4’s build quality and usability. The C7 now holds the title of the last front-engine Corvette generation and does so quite proudly. These seventh-generation cars are remarkably well sorted, and no matter which build you spec, from grand tourer to track monster, these Vettes can deliver.
