Land Rover is reinventing its brand-defining Defender 4×4, set to go on sale in North America next year, but until now we've only seen camouflaged and disguised prototypes undergoing hot weather testing in Africa, cold weather testing above the Arctic Circle, and racing around the Nürburgring.
