My decision to buy a Ferrari 458 worked out pretty well, except for the torn hamstring

God is punishing me for buying a Ferrari. Two days after signing the bottom line on a 458 Spider, He Who Must Be Obeyed rent asunder my right hamstring. To be fair, I ripped the semi-membranous portion of my right hamstring tendon at Orange Theory Fitness.

This sounds like yet another argument for having an automatic transmission.

Or yet another argument for more Robert Farago!

The 458 has an auto box with paddles. In automatic, it shifts to 7th gear at 40mph. Plenty of torque but paddles FTW!

I had a grad 2 hamstring injury with a massive hematoma. Did it playing soft ball.

We were short players so I stayed in the game. I hopped to first for three singles after the injury.

I had no idea how bad it was till the next day the back of my leg was black from the hematoma.

I’d I had a Ferrari I would not complain and just enjoy the drive. There are so many healthy people without Ferraris. Lol!

Thrilled to see Robert back on cars! Though I wish he would have told us what he thought of the Ferrari’s nose.

The nose is wonderful, if a teeny bit Corvette. Those lights up the side… meh.

And this is why SUVs or Trucks rule for us older folks. They are just easier to get into and out of. Not hating on sports cars as I have them too, but your go to chariot should be something a little higher. Good looking dog though.

Unfortunately it's true. My mother struggles to get in an out of a sedan, let alone a sports car.

If you see a black 992 driving around ATL, it might be me!

Hope you get better soon. Shooting pain like that sounds like quite the hell at times to go through. I'm in the Austin area, I'd be happy to keep the fluids fresh if that helps!

Was doing OK until I saw NPR on radio dial. That's all I need to see to assume we view the world through different colored glasses. Oh well, that is one beautiful car!
