Suddenly the numbers from a lot of modern cars don't look quite so impressive. I had an article in an Issue of Hot Rod form either '69 or '70 where they took a showroom stock Buick GS and had it into the very low 13s just from tuning and a gear change. It may have even been the 12s. My memory is failing me. The Duster is no real surprise. They have always been big block killers.
