Le Mans racer that birthed Corvette racing could bring $1.3M | Hagerty Media

One of the earliest cars from Corvette's endurance racing past is bound for auction at RM Sotheby's 2021 Amelia Island sale. Once the gavel falls, this historic Briggs Cunningham racer might end up on the path to restoration and a reunion with its 1960 24 Hours of Le Mans teammates, securing its rightful place among Corvette's Le Mans racing legacy.

900-1.3 without the complete numbers matching power train? I'd be in shock if that amount of scratch was given for this piece.

Without the provenance my friends and I would say: "Nice wreck, anybody get hurt in that?"

With the provenance, but without a lot of pieces, not sure it should go for even $ 100,000...
