I have only one comment: you refer to your beloved "Louie" as "it," when he is most certainly a "him." That's how connected we are with our beloved vintage four-wheeled soul mates.
Mine is a 1967 Jaguar E-Type OTS I've pampered since 1971, and she is a "her." She has been more faithful to me in our 49 years together than most of the women I've known. She's truly a diva, and since I treat her right, she returns my love in every way. Her favorite pastime is to meander topless with me on windy country roads on summer days. What's not to love about a girl like that?
Nice write up. It was great to be able to put a little something together for the group.
Not being able to personally get up to Vermont for my layout of the Great American Mountain Rally Revival it was a great distraction to what is going on in the world.
