You didn't mention that the Indy Mile for motorcycles just ran there which has major historic value as well

I am pretty clear that Al Unser Jr. was not winning Sprintcar races in 1970...........but Big Al was The Man.

Yes, several times throughout the mid-90s. I don't believe he ever won it, though.
