Check out Chrysler Ramchargers "High & Mighty" Plymouth drag car. And see the birth of tall tunnel-ram intakes. They had adjustable height for fine tuning. And that was in the early 1960s.

I agree the MONSTER Tunnel Ram and Nitrous plate stack would look great on a '49 Plymouth Biz Coupe. And it could then be benchmarked against the old original 'Ramchargers' drag strip terror!

We all know there are people out there that really want this stuff on their cars. Look around at some of the “customs” and “rods” running around. Hell, this isn’t far from those wheels with the extreme “poke” highlighted in a Hagerty story not long ago.

I envision a pickup with a “Carolina squat”, those “poke” wheels, one of these tunnel rams, a “ground effects” body kit, a big wing, those mud flaps with the chrome outline of a woman, and the chrome ball sac hanging from the trailer hitch. Add a polyester fur interior, and a garish multi-color flip flop paint job and you’re done.

This was my favorite April Fools joke this year and the fact they had something physical to see and did a pro video on this was the icing on the cake. Best joke of 2022 and I want it to be real. Install this in a car, just do it Holley!

ECS Tuning had a great one this year. Rear wheel drive delete for the Quattro so you would achieve dependable and safe front wheel drive.
