The nickname may be a recent coinage, but the concept of an "Outlaw" Porsche goes back at least to the 1950s. That's when Dean Jeffries, a customization pioneer, modified his 356 Carrera's body at George and Sam Barris's shop in Lynwood, Calif., where he worked. To some, the idea of such alterations is blasphemy.
