Hagerty joins forces with Collectors’ Car Garage to form Hagerty Garage + Social
Part of the appeal of owning a collector car is the fun of going to events such as cars and coffee, track days, and other meet-ups with like-minded enthusiasts. Car collectors are a social bunch, but too often they end up holding their get-togethers in parking lots or other nondescript settings; a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette or a 1970 Lamborghini Espada deserve better than the parking lot of a CVS.
That’s where this latest venture comes in: Hagerty is joining forces with Collectors’ Car Garage (CCG) to form Hagerty Garage + Social (Hagerty G + S).
For the past 4 months, I drive to a vista along Mulholland Highway in southern California every Sunday morning. Somewhere about 7:30-8:00am, as many as 60 exotics (Ferraris, Lambos, Porsches, GTRs, Corvettes and more) motor along the highway. Hagerty and friends have to provide a facility out here in the near future.
