Pro-tip--if you are going to the Goodwood Revival, plan to spend some time touring the vintage car parking lot. These are the classic cars ordinary people drove to the event, and it's right outside the main entrance (and to one side). I discovered it in the last hour of a 2-day visit in 2018, and I could have spent hours there. Imagine seeing a whole row of E-types, and scurrying by to see something more "interesting" in limited time (and I love E-types). It was incredible!
Too bad we don't have events like Goodwood for real enthusiasts here in the States, instead of janitorial d' nonelegances like Bauble Beach, won 2019 and last year (2020 preempted by Covid) by billionaires.
We got to the Goodwood Revival in 2012, and had considered going again this year. But will have to put it off till next. Still, without question, it was The best automotive event we've ever seen. Even the parking lot was a treat,
