GM’s Detroit-Hamtramck plant goes all-electric

General Motors’ Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center—which opened in 1985 and produced such gasoline-powered icons as the Cadillac Eldorado, Oldsmobile Toronado, Pontiac Bonneville, Buick LeSabre, and Chevrolet Impala—is going all-electric. GM needs to add one more zero to their “zero-crashes, zero-emissions, and zero-congestion” future. “ Zero Fun.“  The the Cruise Origin—a purpose-built electric, self-driving vehicle sounds like a soulless future to me.

Political marketing. ALWAYS remember with regards to current EV technology .. EVERY time an EV is recharged, one of its 4000+ little batteries likely dies. Batteries don't improve with age, and Tesla is finding excuses for the as-built range of its cars falling short of design goals and expectation.
