Um... the Daytona Motor Speedway didn’t open until 1959. Try another 50 plus years.

I have received more information about the 20 vs 50 years discussion.  Bill France wasn't racing there until the late 1930s, so we are adding that bit of info and reverting back to the 20+ year comment.
