Don't drag me down: 10 cars that mastered aerodynamics | Hagerty Media

With a drag coefficient of 0.20, Mercedes-Benz claims its upcoming luxury electric car, the EQS, is the world's most aerodynamically efficient production car. As you'll soon find out that's a claim that can only be made when accompanied by a collection of caveats, but it has a strong chance of outselling the small-volume cars to hold the outright title.

Don't forget the NSU Ro80. The Wankel engine got all the press (and infamy), but the car had a very respectable (for 1968) Cd of 0.35, and still looks modern today.

I was waiting for the Tatra 77. 1933, Cd of 0.2455, helped by all the usual aerodynamic tricks and front end made possible thanks to the rear-mounted, air-cooled V8.
