Concours Virtual brings together some of the world’s best cars—and you can vote

COVID-19 has wiped out virtually every automotive event this summer, but you can still participate … virtually. The Concours Virtual allows you to take part in a world-class concours d’elegance without leaving your garage, and it is already underway.

More than 180 of the world’s most beautiful automobiles are being curated into 17 special classes and judged by some of the world’s pre-eminent experts. Classes and results have been gradually revealed since June 30. You can vote for the People’s Choice Award in each class online.

I had a lot of fun participating in this! Even picked up a not-too-shabby second place People’s Choice finish in the “Golden Age of Detroit” class. I like the format of releasing just one or two classes a week on the site, then getting the results at week’s end. Extends the event for a longer period and gives the lot of us stuck at home a fantastic car show to follow, even if it’s just on the computer screen. Very polished website and setup, with some of the best in the automotive world as judges. Check it out!
