I’m conflicted as to how I feel about this one…. On one hand, I’m glad it’s doing what it was built to do. If I were there, I’d have been glad to see it back at it again. On the other, it’s a one-of-a-kind, 2 million dollar, custom built, irreplaceable, historically significant vehicle. It would be a shame if it were wasting away in a museum but on the same token, a shame that it was driven by such a poor driver.
I guess guys buy million dollar Shelby cobras and SCCA race them too. Perhaps it’s one of those “more dollars than sense” situations.
