Avoidable Contact #133: When you have eleven cars and only one of them runs, then it doesn't

Owning a Honda means you should never have to open the hood. Or, at the very least, that you're not opening it very often. So there was dust on the "EarthDreams" badge and a sort of cobwebby mess on every flat surface around the engine and radiator.

Stephen Crane would give the Candy Apple Red Badge of Courage for admitting you have a pile of non-usable (but not useless) vehicles.

And if Tom Cotter has taught us anything about Americans, it is that it is not the slightest bit of extreme or unusual behavior for us to amass numerous vehicles in one's yard, barn, garage, warehouse or field; running or not, complete or not, valuable or not.

The Honda that never needs the hood opened is a myth.

And if you have that many cars not running cars well …..
