1-of-1 Sport Quattro S1 art car celebrates Audi's hill climb glory days

The annual SEMA show in Las Vegas Nevada has car builders from across the United States and across the world vying for the attention of tens of thousands of showgoers. Some go to great lengths to draw attention to their cars with big press conferences and flashy unveilings, but even without any extra fanfare, the eye-popping livery of this race-inspired ride had our attention from the moment we spotted it.

Think it's cool, would find room for a copy in my "lottery dream" garage. And I'll definitely upgrade the hood prop from the Louisville Slugger standard.

The car is certainly amazing. The "art" part does nothing for me.

I had never heard of Tomyboy before, but at least now I know I'm not a fan.

Not sure how much I like the paint job, but a 750-1000 hp car that “ snorts and pops” is a lot more fun to read about (and drive no doubt), than all the BEV Pickups and SUVs we’ve been bombarded with. I’m an Audi guy, would love to have this in my garage.

Brendan, I'm sure the car is fantastic, Audis generally are, and the Juvenile who did the graphics needs to find another job.

Wild paint job aside, it pays decent homage to the 1987 car. Rear wing is nearly identical but the front wing/splitter isn't quite the same and leaves it somewhat nose high. They could have at least had a lower portion in black plastic/rubber to lessen the height. Anyway I'm sure it's a hoot to drive and at least while driving it you don't need to look at the paint job.

I think that this creation is an insult towards the original version and as usual the HP figures are probably on the very optimistic side. The only way to find out is put to the test.

Over the years, Audi's have had some radical paint jobs...
I'm 75 and I love this updated artistic rendering of years gone by! 👍👍
