My 1966

Tribute truck to my wife's deceased parents.

We have a Nov 67 polaroid picture of my wife's older sister, standing in the window of a almost new blue Chevy C20 pickup.

So when i needed a project we decided on a C series truck.

This is what we ended up with, correct year, blue (but darker ), 1/2 ton not 3/4.

Vanity plate with her Dad's name and old farm phone number and Mom's name on door.

This 49 chevy was given to me by my dad for my 16th birthday in 1988.  My dad was the second owner and had it since the 70's.  It had 67k original miles when i started driving it.  At that time it was all original.  I swapped out the engine and tranny shortly after to make it highway ready.  Then an AMC Pacer front clip and V8 in '91.  Then in 2010 it got a frame up redo with a new crate 350 and a Ford 9" rearend.new.jpgIMG01100.jpgLHAN 2018.jpg

Pit Crew

a couple more of my collection.

This 1952 chevy i got in 2018. It had been parked in a shop since 1978.  I replace the electrical system and the brake system and it runs perfect. Totally original and still 6 volt 216 straight 6.

The second is one i picked up last fall.  It is my current project underway.  This Ford PU was owned by the famous pin stripe artist Von Dogo from the early 80's until the 2000's and has some awesome logos painted on it.20180818_190421.jpg20180818_190320.jpg20191128_095123.jpg20191129_151941.jpg20191128_095151_001.jpg
