1941 Chevy. Mostly original except color and the 216 replaced with a 235. Coolest thing is the gas ration sticker in the back window.
I ordered my 1985 F-150 flareside new from Ford with all of my savings (and a graduation gift from mom & dad) in Phoenix, AZ, and it’s been in the family ever since. Now with 159k on the odometer and living with us in the Pacific Northwest, it continues to run strong and garner more compliments than ever.
Over the last few years, I’ve replaced the suspension, the wood bed (tough job, but worth it!), and rebuilt the 351 Windsor motor (bored out to 359 now) with new exhaust, along with some paint work. My youngest daughter made me so happy when she declared that she wants it when I’m done with it... the legacy continues!
This truck was originally purchased in 1970 in Colorado Springs, Colorado while I was serving in the U.S. Army. It was painted a dark green with a brush!
This is the second paint job since, and it has had the original 216 engine rebuilt for the second time as well.
It's been used for camping when our children were young. It was our second vehicle for many years and now it's our fun cruiser.
The wood headliner is a new addition, since I've always wanted a Woody!
Mostly original truck bought by my dad in 1981. He drove it "as-is" for 35 years until we completed a full restoration in 2016.
I like that you took your time and rebuilt it together. looks good. Now you will continue to have happy memories for many years.
1992 Ford F-250 Power Stroke with 7.3 IDI Diesel with 5 speed transmission with overdrive. Original paint with only 65,000 original miles. Located in Southwest Ohio and family owned since new.
1954 Ford F100
Fontana, CA
Going on five years owning this oldie but goodie. Purchased from Son-in-law's Uncle to keep in the family for the Grandson(s) when they get their driver's License.
1916 Menominee Motor Truck
This truck is special to me because it was manufactured by the D.F. Poyer Company of Menominee, Michigan (established in 1909). D.F. Poyer was my great-grandfather. This truck is 1 of 6 known to still exist. "The Menominee" as it was marketed in the day has an open cab and stake bed with a capacity of 1500 lbs.
This Model E features:
My 1966
Tribute truck to my wife's deceased parents.
We have a Nov 67 polaroid picture of my wife's older sister, standing in the window of a almost new blue Chevy C20 pickup.
So when i needed a project we decided on a C series truck.
This is what we ended up with, correct year, blue (but darker ), 1/2 ton not 3/4.
Vanity plate with her Dad's name and old farm phone number and Mom's name on door.
49 Ford F1 351W 4speed. Has been in the family since the seventies. just got it put back together this year.
1955 Ford F350 1-Ton 239 Y-block. Purchased new by Grandpa in '55. Passed down to Dad, then me. Started the restore almost 5 years ago. Almost there!
This 49 chevy was given to me by my dad for my 16th birthday in 1988. My dad was the second owner and had it since the 70's. It had 67k original miles when i started driving it. At that time it was all original. I swapped out the engine and tranny shortly after to make it highway ready. Then an AMC Pacer front clip and V8 in '91. Then in 2010 it got a frame up redo with a new crate 350 and a Ford 9" rearend.
a couple more of my collection.
This 1952 chevy i got in 2018. It had been parked in a shop since 1978. I replace the electrical system and the brake system and it runs perfect. Totally original and still 6 volt 216 straight 6.
The second is one i picked up last fall. It is my current project underway. This Ford PU was owned by the famous pin stripe artist Von Dogo from the early 80's until the 2000's and has some awesome logos painted on it.
1941 Dodge WC-12 all original with optional dually budd wheels. Each wheel was date stamped December 1941.
