You wouldn’t want to drive on a road with no rules. The Hagerty Community is kind of the same. In order to keep everyone safe, comfortable, and lawful on the Hagerty Community, please don’t post anything that:
It’s pretty simple: Breaking these rules means we’ll either have to edit or take down your post/upload/avatar/display name/etc. We don’t want to have to do that.
And we hate to even have to say it, but we’ll definitely report any serious matters to appropriate legal or law enforcement agencies. Like, immediately.
Most important, just remember we’re all here because of our shared automotive love. So be kind, be respectful, and give each other a thumbs up. Now, head back into the action and have some fun.
Have no idea what you are talking about.
I read these guidelines the day I signed up, and I really thought I understood them. Now, as I re-read them, I think I violated about half-a-dozen of them (mildly, I think, but still...) over the past 10 months. One of my New Year's Resolutions will be to be a better boy in 2022! 😄
You are doing fine, and I thank you for reading them. Things are getting a little too manic and angry at times--especially on Hagerty articles/editorials that cover current news items--and unfortunately I have actually had to enforce the rules. Hopefully people will start realizing this isn't social media, and we actually expect people to follow some basic rules of the road. Fingers crossed on that.
