Hagerty Expert Repair Network

Greetings Everyone: This is my first post.  Look forward to helping the community when I can.

I was searching the internet for auto restoration shops near me.  One shop's website had a symbol indicating it was a member of the "Hagerty Expert Repair Network".  I went to the Hagerty website (https://www.hagerty.com/corporate/expert-Repair-Network) to learn more about this, hoping to find recommended shop(s) near me.  Hagerty's website explains the criteria for shops to be referred & considered, and qualifications to be included, but there is no listing of the shops that are in this network.  Is there a list of shops in this network?  If so where can Hagerty Community / Driver's Club members find it?

Thanks in advance.   Stay safe and well!

Hello Michael, thank you for your question! As of right now,  we do not publish our list publicly on the Internet, can you email Carciege@hagerty.com to so our team can address this for you?

We'd love to learn more about your projects in the future here in the Hagerty Community!

Looking for a Hot Rod body shop to complete my car in the Tampa Florida area.

Finding a hot rod shop, body shop, etc. I think is worth taking the time to do the tedious legwork yourself.

By that I mean asking people with cars you like the look of (especially in the case of paint/body) and asking that person "Who did it?" and "Who would you get to paint your next car?"

If you are in a club, or at a local show you should get a pattern by 10-20 people asked. Then look up the 2-3 most promising leads. Have they been in business more than 5 years? (More likely to be around in 3 years if so in my view). Are they taking work and what is their lead time (i.e., if they want your car for a year does that work for you?).

If at any point in the process you are second-guessing using someone... don't use them. Taking an extra month to find the right shop/person is way better than months/years of getting out of a mess.

Hi Sajeev,

I too am looking for a trusted mechanic/restoration in the north Dallas area. I have some work that is outside of my paygrade and was looking for suggestions. Is it possible for you to share the "expert repair" list?

Hi there @Sgabe !  I don't have access to that list, but you can get a recommendation for a DFW area shop by emailing Carciege@hagerty.com to so our team can assist you.

Doesn't have a link yet- would be perfect for the community to know! Did you find a good shop (please tell me it's in Detroit area!)?
